:The Reserves bounced back from a 2-1 home defeat in the Suburban League Cup against AFC Hayes on Saturday with a comprehensive victory over local rivals Harefield on Tuesday evening in a league fixture. Northwood were in command of the game and only a 10 minute spell midway through the second half, when the Woods took their foot off the pedal, did Harefield threaten. The Woods took the lead on 26 minutes when a cross from Luke Lynam was met with a spectacular overhead kick from the edge of the box by skipper Carl Hunt that left the Harefield keeper helpless. One of the best goals seen at Chestnut Avenue for a long time! Within eight minutes another terrific shot from Courtney Francis flew into the net to give the Woods a 2-0 half-time lead. Within seven minutes of the restart it was Courtney Francis again on the scoresheet, running through onto a precision pass from John Dailly to put Northwood three up. Substitute Jerome Cole came on, and within three minutes completed the scoring after another John Dailly through ball left him to round the keeper to finish off an excellent 4-0 victory. MOTM: John Dailly
